Overview

Fresh Produce packaging, in-house from print to pouch.

We manufacture flexible packaging for whole and fresh-cut produce using controlled atmosphere packaging (CAP), modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), laser micro-perforated films and macro-perforated bags. Anti-fog coatings keep display windows clear, and microwavable steam-in-bag formats turn raw vegetables into ready-to-cook convenience. Every structure is tuned with calculated oxygen transmission rates and hermetic seal integrity for the specific respiration rate of the product inside.

Controlled atmosphere proof

It's the bag.

Standard hot-needle venting punches a ragged ~850 µm hole. Our laser micro-perforation holds a consistent 120 µm aperture, so oxygen transmission is calculated rather than approximated — and moisture stays in the produce.

  • What is the difference between CAP and MAP for produce?

    Controlled atmosphere packaging (CAP) continuously adjusts gas exchange through the film, while modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) establishes a fixed atmosphere inside the pack. We spec the right film based on respiration rate and supply chain length.

  • How do laser perforations extend shelf life?

    Laser micro- and macro-perforations are sized and spaced to match a product's respiration rate, balancing oxygen in and carbon dioxide out so produce stays crisp without anaerobic off-odors.

  • Can you supply anti-fog films for retail display?

    Yes — anti-fog coatings are available on lidding films and pouches so condensation does not obscure the product inside refrigerated display cases.
